On March 16, 2011, just after 12pm, a truck hauling an oversize load was collided with the underside of the overpass on the west end of Portage la Prairie on the Trans Canada Highway.
There were no injuries reported, however, due to damage to the structure, traffic was being re-routed through the City of Portage la Prairie. Motorists were advised to expect some delays.
Police continue to investigate.
