A Lac du Bonnet man has died after his car rolled and ended up upside down in a water filled ditch.
On April 10, 2011, at about 8:30pm, Lac du Bonnet RCMP were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle rollover collision in the RM of Lac du Bonnet.
Investigation indicates that a 35-year-old man from the RM of Lac du Bonnet had been traveling on Belluk Road when his vehicle, a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am, left the roadway and rolled over at least once, coming to rest upside down in a water filled ditch.
The driver was extricated from his vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision at this time.
Police would like to remind motorists to drive with care at any time and to exercise extra caution in the area of flooded roads and water filled ditches.
Police continue to investigate.
