RCMP have charged two teens in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier this month at the 7-Eleven food store in Dauphin.
On Thursday evening, April 14, 2011, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment executed a search warrant at a home on Main Street South in Dauphin. Officers seized a number of items including 2 long guns and some ammunition.
Four males, who were present in the house, were arrested. Two of those males were released unconditionally, while the other two have been charged.
18-year-old Cordell Kasey Bouchie from Duck Bay, Manitoba, has been charged with robbery, possession of a restricted weapon and breach of undertaking and has been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court this afternoon. A 15-year-old Dauphin male has been charged with robbery, possession of a restricted weapon and breach of probation and has also been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court this afternoon.
