RCMP Eliphinstone Detachment is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 49-year-old Earl Huntinghawk of Rolling River FN.
Earl Huntinghawk is described as aboriginal, short black hair, brown eyes, 5’8″ to 5’9″ tall and weighing about 210 lbs. He has a tattoo of a thunder bolt on his right hand.
Mr. Huntinghawk was last spoken to on the phone on July 26 in the morning at about 9:30am at his residence.
His family is very concerned for his welfare. It is unlike him to leave the community without contact with friends and family.
To date, RCMP efforts to locate Earl Huntinghawk in the Community has been unsuccessful.
The RCMP Search and Rescue Team, assisted by the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner, have been dispatched to assist with the search.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Earl Huntinghawk or who may have seen him recently is asked to contact the RCMP Elphinstone Detachment at 1-204-625-2138 or the Wasagaming RCMP Detachment at 1-204-848-2659.

Earl Huntinghawk has been located by the RCMP Search and Rescue Team this afternoon at about 1:15pm. He was found about half a mile southwest of his residence, in tall grass near a body of water. Huntinghawk is being transported by ambulance to Hospital. His condition is unknown at present, but RCMP members confirmed he was conscious when he was found.
