Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation advises that as a result of ongoing repairs on the bridge over the Rat River on PR 200, near Ste. Agathe, the structure will be closed beginning Monday, Aug. 15 at 9 a.m. until approximately Oct. 28.
The work is part of an ongoing rehabilitation of the bridge, with phase one of the project completed earlier this year. The remainder of the project, which includes reconstructing the north half of the bridge, will be completed over approximately the next two months.
Detour signs are in place and all motorists are reminded to use extra caution when approaching any construction zone and while passing workers and equipment.
