At approximately 11:16 pm, on September 3, 2011, Cross Lake RCMP were called to a suspicious house fire located in the Wapack Area of Cross Lake FN.

Upon arrival at the scene the home was completely engulfed in flames. The Cross Lake Community Fire Department was able to distinguish the flame.

RCMP report that no one was in the home at the time of the fire. Cross Lake RCMP with the assistance of the Fire Commissioners Office are investigating this incident.
