On September 10, 2011, at about 1:30pm, Dauphin RCMP as well as local Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene of a fire at the Kelleher Ford Dealership in Dauphin, Manitoba.
The structure has been reported to have been completely destroyed by fire. High winds, high temperatures and combustible material are reported to have made the fire difficult to control.
The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner attended to assist with the investigation. At this time the fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical malfunction and is not considered suspicious in nature.
RCMP report that there had been employees in the business at the time of the fire, though they were all able to evacuate safely.
There were no injuries reported and the investigation continues.
