The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a wanted woman thought to be in the Winnipeg area.
Lacey Susan Gislason, a 26-year-old who recently resided in Prince George but is originally from Winnipeg, is wanted on an arrest warrant. The warrant has been extended from British Columbia to include Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Gislason is wanted for two counts of breach of recognizance stemming from a June 2011 firearms offence. On June 8, 2011, members of the Prince George RCMP’s Drug Section and Crime Reduction Team, located Gislason in a residence on the 1500 block of Queensway in Prince George, BC. Gislason was arrested at the residence. A search warrant was obtained and a sawed off .22 caliber rifle was located.
On August 30, 2011, Gislason was arrested for allegedly breaching one of her court imposed conditions. On September 6, 2011, officers believe that Gislason was once again breaching her court imposed conditions. She was not located and has not been seen since.
Gislason is described as a First Nations female with black hair and brown eyes, 170 cm (5’7”), 71 kg (157 lb). She has a violent Criminal history and should not be approached. Gislason has used the aliases Brittany Poirier and Chassity Morrisseau in the past. If located, please discreetly contact the nearest RCMP Detachment or Municipal Police Force in your area.
