James Joseph Gallagher, reported missing on November 4, 2011.
Nipawin RCMP responded to a call on November 4, 2011, at 10:30pm, to locate 71-year-old James Joseph Gallagher.
Gallagher is described as 5’6″, 140 lbs, short grey hair and wears glasses. He is believed to be driving his 2004 red Ford Ranger side-step pick-up truck with Saskatchewan licence plate 596 GMT.
Investigators have determined that James Gallagher was seen in a gas station on Highway 10 in Mafeking, Manitoba, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 10:34am. Gallagher was asking for directions on how to return to Saskatchewan. At the time, Gallagher was wearing a plaid jacket and a beige hat and had several days beard growth. He appeared disoriented and his speech impediment was noticeable.
RCMP are asking residents in the area surrounding Melfort (SK), Tisdale (SK), Carrot River (SK) and Mafeking (MB) to be on the look out for Mr. Gallagher and his 2004 red, Ford Ranger sidestep truck. It is out of character for James Gallagher to be out of contact with his family and they are concerned for his well being.
