Thirty-year-old Douglas James Sinclair of Winnipeg has now been formerly charged with 21 criminal code charges in relations with various break ins and theft related offences from four Police Departments.

Charges to Douglas James stem from Morden Police Service, Altona Police Service, Winnipeg Police Service and Winkler Police Service. Sinclair has also been charged for incidents stemming out of RCMP Detachment areas covered by Morris, East St. Paul and Carman.

From Morris RCMP – Eight charges are in connection with the incident in Lowe Farm on March 12th they include:

• Breach of Recognizance x 3
• Theft over $5,000
• Possess Stolen Property
• Possess Break-in instruments
• Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
• Escape lawful custody

From East St. Paul RCMP on offences dated March 10, 2009:

• Possess Stolen Property  x 2
• Break Enter and Theft x 2
• Flight from police 

From Carman area – offence on March 2, 2009:

• Break Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence

Winkler PS and Altona PS area on offences dated February 17, 2009:

• Possess Stolen Property
• Theft over $5,000 x 2
• Break Enter and Theft x 3

Winnipeg PS on offence dated February 6, 2009:

• Theft over $5,000

Douglas James Sinclair of Winnipeg has been remanded in custody and will be appearing in Court on Monday March 16, 2009.
