The RM of Tache would like to improve the road which leads to the municipality’s dump with funding from the province.

The municipality recently agreed to send in an application for grant in aid funding to reconstruct Gendron Road. The road runs north and south between Lorette and Hwy 210, and is a high traffic road due to the location of the municipal land fill site.

The RM of Tache has charged their public works department with coming up with specifications for the upgrade, which include road shaping, installation of geo-textile, as well as gravel and dust abatement for about one mile of Gendron Road, leading from Hwy 405 to Dumaine Road. Until that is complete cost estimates are unavailable.
