Farmers from across Manitoba will gather in Winnipeg this week for Keystone Agricultural Producers’ (KAP) major policy setting event of the year. KAP hosts its 28th annual meeting at the Delta Winnipeg from Wednesday, January 25 to Friday, January 27.
The meeting provides an engaging forum for dialogue, collaboration and learning. This is where decisions are made on the future of agricultural policy. A full agenda is planned with a series of speakers who will share their technical knowledge, on-the-ground expertise, and vision on a wide range of agricultural topics.
Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives Minister, Hon. Ron Kostyshyn, will address the delegates on Wednesday, January 25 at 1:30 pm.
KAP’s Young Farmers Committee is also hosting an evening session open to all farmers under the age of 40.
