Scene of a commercial fire in Bakers Narrows, Manitoba.
On February 4, 2012, just after 6am, Cranberry Portage RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a commercial fire in Bakers Narrows, Manitoba.
On arrival police discovered the Bakers Narrows Lodge completely engulfed. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire and the building was reported to be unoccupied at the time.
Police say that the building is reported to be an entire loss, a damage estimate is not available. An investigator from the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner will be attending to assist with the ongoing investigation. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
