Early on March 25 in the morning, officers from the Dauphin Municipal Detachment were called to a Dauphin bar to remove an intoxicated patron.

Officers attended and arrested the man. When officers conducted a search of his person subsequent to his arrest, they located a quantity of cocaine. Police say that the cocaine has an estimated street value of $1,000.

A 37-year-old man from the Pine Creek First Nation is to make his first court appearance in Dauphin on May 15, 2012 and will be facing drug possession and trafficking charges.
