On April 8, 2012, just after 5am, Gillam RCMP were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive male outside a residence in Ilford, Manitoba.
RCMP rerport that the unresponsive male, a 29-year-old resident of York Landing, was transported to the community nursing station where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say that the death is being investigated as a homicide and an autopsy is scheduled to take place in Winnipeg.
Gillam RCMP, with additional resources from RCMP north district, as well as the RCMP Major Crimes Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.

The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Jeremy Saunders of York Landing, Manitoba. An autopsy has been completed, however, the cause of death is not being released at this time.
