The Chrysalis Fund, a Steinbach women’s giving circle, is pleased to announce its call for grant applications from local community organizations.
Established in 2009, the fund provides small grants for non-profit organizations that focus on promoting growth and positive change in children and youth in the Steinbach area.
Chairperson Debbie Krahn notes that there are several grants available to be given out to eligible non-profit groups who could benefit.
Since its inception, the membership of The Chrysalis Fund has grown from 11 to 30. Previous grant recipients include Steinbach’s Backstage, the U-Turn House and Anna’s House. The fund has approximately $6,000 available to grant this year.
Grant applications can be picked up at the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce. The deadline for application is June 15, 2012. For more information please contact The Chrysalis Fund at thechrysalisfund@gmail.com.
