A man and woman from Dauphin are facing charges in connection with a break and enter that occurred last month at a Dauphin residence.
On April 26, 2012 a break and enter was reported to the Dauphin Municipal RCMP Detachment. A shed at a 10th Avenue S.W. home had been broken in to and a lawn mower, grass trimmer and leaf blower were stolen.
On May 3, the stolen items were recovered by investigators after they learned that they had been sold to another Dauphin resident.
On Friday evening, May 4, investigators attended a Main Street residence and arrested 2 people in relation to this investigation.
24-year-old Leroy Christopher Thompson and 26-year-old Jennifer Louella Chartrand, both of Dauphin, have each been charged with possession of property obtained by crime. They have each been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court.
