On June 22, 2012, at about 9:30pm, Arborg RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal ATV rollover in the RM of Bifrost, near the junction of Highway 68 and PR 222.
Initial investigation indicates that a 2012 Polaris Ranger ATV was being operated on a trail when it rolled over at least one time.
Police say that the driver, a 42-year-old man from the RM of Bifrost, was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Two passengers, a 46-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
RCMP report that there were no other persons or vehicles involved.
An RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst attended to assist with the ongoing investigation.
