Suspect involved in grocery theft.

Selkirk RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance with information to identify a male suspect involved in a theft at the Safeway Food store in the City of Selkirk.

Police say that on July 25, 2012, at about 9:30 pm, an unknown male entered the store and proceeded to the meat freezer where he stole over $2,000 worth of frozen goods. The unknown male left the store with the groceries and his identity is still not known.

Selkirk RCMP continue to investigate this matter and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this person. Anyone with information is asked to call the Selkirk RCMP at 204-482-1222.
