Treherne RCMP, with the assistance of the RCMP Criminal Crash Investigation Team, have charged 22-year-old Curtis Cabernel of Cypress River in relation to a recent fatal motor vehicle rollover collision.
The collision occurred in the early morning hours of June 24, 2012, on Provincial road 342 in the Rural Municipality of Victoria near Cypress River.
Cabernel has been charged with one count of impaired driving causing death, one count of impaired driving over 80 mg causing death, two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two counts of impaired driving over 80 mg causing bodily harm.
Cabernel was released on a promise to appear in Portage la Prairie Court on September 24, 2012.
