RCMP seized a quantity of crystal meth from a Winnipeg auto repair shop after executing a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant yesterday morning.
On August 29, 2012, just before 8am RCMP D Division Drug Section members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an auto repair shop in the 1900 block of Logan Avenue in Winnipeg.
A search of the premises revealed approximately six ounces of methamphetamine (crystal meth) as well as drug paraphernalia and a quantity of cash. Police say that the street value of the drugs is estimated to be around $60,000.
53-year-old Pietro Aurlieo Manfredi of Winnipeg was arrested at the location and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking a controlled substance and breach of undertaking. Manfredi has been remanded and remains in custody.
Police continue to investigate.
