Three men have been charged with the Thompson murder of Stanley Mackechnie, a 17-year-old resident of The Pas which occurred on April 10, 2009.
An autopsy was conducted in Winnipeg on April 12, 2009. The cause of death is not being released at this time.
Trevor Mercredi (29) of Thompson, Howard Pagee (19) of Thompson and Wilfred Cook (18) of The Pas have been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
Their first court appearance is scheduled for April 14, 2009 at the Thompson Provincial Court.
