On January 19, 2013, Swan River RCMP received a complaint from Rough Country Sports in Swan River, advising that their compound was broken into overnight and that 4 snowmobiles had been stolen.

RCMP report that three of the stolen snowmobiles were 2013 Polaris Switchback Assault 800’s, the other sled was a Polaris Indy 600. Three of the sleds are orange and black in colour and the other is silver/metallic grey. Total retail value of the stolen snowmobiles is approximately $50,000.

Police say that the sled tracks were traced through fresh snow all the way to the Kamsack area. It is believed that the suspects drove the sleds the whole way. Suspects are unknown at this time.
