On February 11, 2013, Steinbach RCMP members responded to a weapons complaint at L.A. Barkman Park.
Information provided to police was that the subjects had a black hand gun in their possession. Police attended and as a result of the investigation, determined the gun was not real, however, could easily be perceived as real.
RCMP report that a 19-year-old male was educated regarding the seriousness of firearms complaints, whether or not the firearm is real or imitation.
