On March 3, 2013, at approximately 1am, members of the Steinbach RCMP Detachment responded to a domestic assault in progress.

Upon arrival to the scene, police arrested a male youth for assault. Police say that the victim did not require medical attention, however, she did sustain injuries to her arms and face.

RCMP report that the male youth was released from custody and is set to appear in Provincial Court.
