On April 14, 2013, Steinbach RCMP responded to a break-in at Steinbach Hatchery and Feeds, located at 231 Main Street in Steinbach.
Police say that the incident occurred sometime between April 12 to April 14, in which unknown suspect(s) entered the facility causing damage to the interior of the business. Although the exact value of the damage is unknown, the value is suspected to be under $5,000.
