On April 28, 2013, at approximately 5:45am, Steinbach RCMP responded to a domestic assault complaint at an apartment complex in Steinbach.
Police arrived at the apartment and discovered that the suspect had left on foot. Investigation also revealed a historical incident of sexual abuse on a minor.
RCMP made patrols for the suspect and located him walking on Reimer Avenue near Brandt Street. The adult male suspect was intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
Police are not releasing the name of the suspect to protect the identity of the victim(s). The investigation is ongoing.
