On June 3, 2013, at about 9:45pm, Headingley RCMP were dispatched to an armed robbery at a local restaurant in the 5500 block of Portage Avenue in Headingley.
RCMP learned that an armed male suspect entered the restaurant, pointed a firearm to a staff member and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot and, despite a swift police response, could not be found.
The suspect is described as being male, Caucasian in appearance, 5’4 to 5’5″, slim build, dressed in black clothing wearing black boots, a black paintball helmet and a black face mask.
Police say that the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
