On June 7, 2013, at 5:30am, Crystal City RCMP and local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision on highway 23, approximately 1 km east of Highway 34 in the RM of Lorne.
Initial investigation indicates that a 2006 Dodge pick-up truck was traveling west on Highway 23 when it rolled over at least once. Police say that there were three occupants and that all were ejected from the vehicle.
RCMP report that one adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene and two adult males were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. There were no other persons or vehicles involved.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
