During the evening of June 20, 2013, Steinbach RCMP, Steinbach Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a house fire on Road 36E in the Rural Municipality of Hanover.
Police say that fire crews were able to extinguish the fire before it had spread throughout the entire house, however significant damage had still occurred.
The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen.
