Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a concrete saw from a business located north of Steinbach along Highway 12.
Stolen STIHL TS 420 concrete saw, along with surveillance video images of suspects and suspect vehicle.
Police say that the theft occurred on the morning of July 16, 2013. Surveillance video has now been obtained which captures the suspects and the suspect vehicle.
The investigation has determined that two men and one woman, with noticeable accents, entered the business. One of the men distracted the sales person while the other man and woman were able to conceal a STIHL TS 420 Concrete Saw under the woman’s long dress and exit the store. These suspects then left the area in a red van with a trailer hitch attached to the back of it. The stolen saw is value at approximately $1,500.
Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying these individuals.
