Ron Loeppky Fairway Ford and Niverville Collegiate Institute are partnering to help raise up to $6,000 as part of Ford Motor Company of Canada’s Drive 4 UR School program.
Members of the local community will have the opportunity to raise money for the school by test-driving a Ford vehicle. For every person who test-drives an Escape, Fusion, Fiesta, Focus, F-150, Mustang, Super Duty and other available models at this one-day event, Ford of Canada on behalf of Fairway Ford will donate $20 in support of playground equipment for the school.
Since the start of Ford’s Drive 4 UR School and Community programs in 2010, more than 157,000 test-drives at more than 900 events have generated over $3 million in donations for high schools and organizations in Canada. More than $82,040 was raised in Manitoba through both the Drive 4 UR School/Community programs last year.
The event will happen on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 6pm to 9pm at the Niverville Collegiate Institute, located at 161 5th Avenue South. Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license and will be limited to one test-drive per household.
