On the evening of September 21, 2013, around 8:45pm, officers from the Dauphin RCMP Detachment responded to an alarm at a business on Main Street North.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a broken window on the north side of the building. A male suspect was then observed inside the store and was taken into custody.

RCMP report that Darren James Brass, 42, from the Shoal River Indian Reserve, Manitoba, has been charged with break, enter and theft and has been remanded in custody to appear in court.
