On November 5, 2013, shortly after 8pm, Carman RCMP along with local Fire and EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle and bicycle collision on Highway 421.
The cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say that a 65-year-old male cyclist was travelling west on Highway 421, when he was struck by westbound van. The cyclist was wearing dark non-reflective clothing at the time with little lighting on the bicycle.
An RCMP Traffic Analyst is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
