This past weekend, Steinbach RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Barkman Avenue.

Jeep ends up on its roof after colliding with a van at the corner of Main and Barkman in Steinbach.

After talking with witnesses, police were advised that the Jeep was traveling east on main street when it failed to stop for a red light. The Jeep then collided with a southbound van traveling on Barkman avenue.

Police say that all six occupants from the two vehicles were taken to Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach for precaution as there were no life threatening injuries.

RCMP report that the driver of the jeep was charged for disobeying a traffic control device.
