On December 20, 2013, shortly before 7 pm, Headingley RCMP responded to motor vehicle collision on Highway 1, two kilometres west of Headingley.
Initial police investigation suggests that a semi-trailer, traveling west, lost control and went off the road into the ditch. The sem-trailer was hauling mail.
RCMP officers were on scene and reported that the driver of the semi-trailer received minor injuries.
