On December 31, 2013, at 8:30am, Cross Lake RCMP were called to the local Nursing Station in response to a stabbing incident where a 21-year-old man had been stabbed in the abdomen area.
Police investigation revealed that the victim had attended a social gathering at a Cross Lake residence. RCMP attended the scene and identified the suspect. At 9:31 am, officers arrested an 18-year-old male.
Police say that the victim was treated and listed in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
