Shortly after 11:00 am on February 1, 2014, Selkirk RCMP and local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 9 and Hall Road.

Initial police investigation suggests that a Chevy Cruze and Chevy pickup truck were traveling south on Highway 9. The Cruze had stopped to turn east on to Hall Road when it was rear-ended by the pickup truck, pushing the Cruze  into the northbound lane. A northbound Dodge pickup truck then collided with the Cruze.

RCMP report that the lone female driver of the Cruze and the lone male driver of the Dodge pickup truck were transported to hospital with unknown injuries. The lone male driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
