Shortly after 11pm on February 21, 2014, Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Southwood Drive in Steinbach. The complainant advised a suspicious looking male was rummaging through vehicles and attempting to break into nearby homes.
RCMP attended the scene and found the suspect had fled. Evidence left at the scene directed police to a residence in Steinbach where a 21-year-old man was taken into custody. The suspect remains in custody and the investigation continues.
