On March 14, 2014, Steinbach RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter that had occurred at a residence on Trappers Bay, a new development located east of La Broquerie.
Police say that the home owners had left the property shortly before 9am and had returned at approximately 12:30pm to find both garage doors and their front door ajar. There were no items reported stolen, though, several televisions in the residence had been unplugged by the intruder.
