Spray painting at the North Perimeter Highway bridge crossing the Red River.

RCMP Selkirk received a complaint early this month of two suspects spray painting graffiti at the North Main Street boat launch in the RM of West St. Paul.

RCMP attended the scene and arrested two suspects who were spray painting the concrete support columns of the North Perimeter Highway bridge crossing the Red River. Both suspects were in possession of bags containing a variety of graffiti material such as spray paint cans, rubber gloves and filter masks.

Two 27-year-old Winnipeg men are facing charges of Mischief to Property Under $5,000 and were released on a Promise to Appear. Both men are scheduled to appear in Selkirk Provincial Court June 26, 2009.
