On May 17, 2014, at 4am, Powerview RCMP responded to a fire at the St. Georges Museum in St. Georges, Manitoba.
Police say that the centre building of the three museum buildings was fully engulfed when officers arrived at the scene. The other two buildings sustained water and smoke damage.
RCMP report that the fire was put out by the local fire department.
RCMP are investigating this incident with the assistance of the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
