On Tuesday August 12, 2014, Steinbach MLA, Kelvin Goertzen, presented Mennonite Heritage Village Executive Director, Barry Dyck, with a framed copy of a resolution passed in the Manitoba Legislature which commemorates and celebrates 2014 being the 50th anniversary of the Museum.
Mennonite Heritage Village Executive Director, Barry Dyck, along with Steinbach MLA, Kelvin Goertzen.
The resolution was supported by all parties in the Manitoba Legislature. The Mennonite Heritage Village has been hosting a number of special events all year in celebration of its anniversary.
