Steinbach RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a recent break and enter incident that occurred in the City of Steinbach.

On August 14, 2014, Steinbach RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter into a residence on Granite Park Boulevard in Steinbach. Police believe the suspects entered the home between the hours of 11:30pm on August 13 and 5am on August 14.

Police say that two handbags were stolen from inside the residence and loose coins from inside a vehicle that was parked in the attached garage. The homeowners were home asleep at the time of the incident and were not woken by the suspects.

Steinbach RCMP are encouraging members of the public to take steps to prevent theft such as locking doors and having a neighbourhood watch program.
