Manitou RCMP, along with Winkler Police Services are asking the public for any information connected to a missing teen, 19-year-old Travis Sukkau.
On October 23, 2014, at approximately 7:15pm, Manitou RCMP received a request from Winkler Police Services to assist them in locating 19-year-old Travis Sukkau, who is believed to be in the Pembina Valley Provincial Park area. Travis Sukkau was believed to have attended the park during the day. His family became concerns when he did not come back home that same evening.
Travis Sukkau is described as 5’9″ tall, 160 lbs, has brown hair and hazel eyes. He wears square brown glasses.
Police say that Travis Sukkau’s vehicle was located in a wooded area in the Pembina Valley Provincial Park area. A search was initiated with the assistance of the Winkler Police Department, Manitou RCMP members, RCMP search and Rescue Team, Office of Fire Commissioner and the Department of Natural Ressources.
His vehicle has been observed parked at that location since October 23, 2014 before noon. It is believe that another vehicle was parked in the same area during that time and left before police initiated the search. RCMP are asking anyone that would have been around the vehicle and would have notice anything to communicate with police.
