The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has just launched a brand new video, showcasing what great things the City has to offer.
“People often comment that Steinbach is such a great place to live. A great place to raise a family. What we realized is that we weren’t very proactive in sharing that good news with others”. ~ Linda Peters, Executive Director of Steinbach Chamber of Commerce.
From that realization, emerged a new project for the Chamber. Linda Peters noted that it was time to showcase our city, to invite others to discover what today’s Steinbach has to offer. The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has created a new video, MoreForYouHere.ca, which showcases an affordable growing community. A community that welcomes diversity. A community that offers a wide array of recreational opportunities from sports to the arts, festivals and walking paths, and much more.
“When we Googled for information about Steinbach, we found very little visual information,” said Linda Peters. “These days, short visual tools are important to capture people’s attention, so that was what we originally set out to do. But the project has grown into much more, we soon realized this was an opportunity to really showcase what a beautiful community we have and how proud we are to live in Steinbach.”
The video took several months to create and was exciting for everyone involved. “We’ve worked really hard to put the spirit of Steinbach into a short video. It’s a great introduction to our city for people who have never visited, and it’s also an opportunity for people to look at Steinbach with fresh eyes, even though they may have lived here for a long time,” said Peters. “We are growing, changing and we are a proud community and we want to share that.”
