A 73 year old Easterville man was flown to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg where he remains in critical condition after being seriously assaulted late Friday evening in the northern Manitoba community of Easterville.
The Chemawawin RCMP Detachment, assisted by The Pas Forensic Identification Section, RCMP Serious Crime Unit and members of the Winnipeg Major Crime and Thompson Major Crime Units, have arrested one 24 year old male resident of Chemawawin for aggravated assault in connection with the incident.
The investigation continues.
