For the second straight year, Manitoba Public Insurance is making provincial park passes available at its Service Centres across the province.
The passes, which are valid until April 30, 2016, cost $40 and will be available for sale on Thursday, May 21.
“We know how popular this initiative was last year and we’re happy to be able to provide the service once again,” said Ward Keith, acting vice-president, Business Development & Communications and Chief Product Officer, Manitoba Public Insurance.
“By offering these passes at all of our Service Centres – from Winkler to Thompson and everywhere in between – we are providing our customers with an extraordinary level of added convenience and accessibility to Manitoba’s beautiful provincial parks.”
Service Centres are just one option for Manitobans interested in purchasing a park pass.
“We know how passionate Manitobans are about spending time outdoors throughout the year – and especially during the summer months,” said Attorney General Gord Mackintosh, minister responsible for Manitoba Public Insurance. “That’s why our government, along with our partners, is making obtaining a park pass as simple and convenient as possible.”
A small number of Autopac agents already sell the Manitoba annual park pass through a pre-arranged partnership with the Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship. Passes are also available online and at some park gates and campground offices throughout the province.
