Officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP arrested two young people for failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking in separate occurrences this past weekend.
Around 4:45 p.m. Friday afternoon, officers spotted a 13 year old boy on 1st Avenue N.E. and were aware he had a 24 hour curfew. The youth ran from the officer and a short foot chase ensued. The youth was arrested without further incident. He has been charged with 2 counts of breach of undertaking.
On Sunday night around 11:00 p.m., officers on patrol observed a girl riding a bike on 2nd Avenue N.W. The officers recognized the girl and were aware that she also had a court ordered curfew. The 17 year old girl was arrested and has been charged with 2 counts of breach of undertaking.
Both youths have been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Court. Both youths are residents of Dauphin.
