On September 9, 2015 at approximately 10:20pm, Headingley Correctional Centre called the RCMP to report that an inmate had escaped from their facility.
Police say that Levi Keegan Waldbilligh, who was incarcerated for break and enter and robbery, is described as a 31-year-old aboriginal male, 6 feet tall, 170 lbs, has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing grey pants and grey sweater. His home community is Winnipeg.
RCMP are warning the public to not approach Waldbilligh and to immediately call 911 if they see him.
Headingley Correctional Centre reported no injuries to their personnel. Several police officers, assisted by Winnipeg Police Service, Police Dog Services and Air One, are currently dedicated to the search for Levi Keegan Waldbilligh.
Update
Officers from the Winnipeg Police Service arrested Levi Keegan Waldbilligh without incident. Patrolling officers located him at the Siloam Mission, in Winnipeg.
